A HURRAY TO MY CONSULTING CAREER & STEPPING INTO A NEW DOMAIN I SEEK

It is with a mixed sense of excitement, trepidation, relief,uncertainty and expectancy I inform you all, that 30th of April 2026 was the day, I decided to hang up my boots...so to say!

After almost 34 years in HR Consulting and 6 years in the Corporate world, I finally decided to pursue my other interests in life....Blogging, Writing, Travelling, Farming...etc among other things. It seems quite surreal and the feeling is just about sinking in.

Its been a roller coaster of a journey and i still remember the day in late 1992,when I stepped into a Business Centre in Chandralok Complex, Secunderabad, to start my tryst with Entrepreneurship and Consulting.I set up my office in Sairam Business Center, and the owner went by the name of Lingamurthy, a thoroughbred businessman. I was given a table,3 chairs, a small cupboard for storage and a tiny 6x6 cubicle. This became my office for about a year. Those days there were no mobile phones, and we just had a common phone from which we could make calls for about Re 1 per call(incoming of course was free).My office was literally a suitcase, wherein all my stationery, letter heads, stamps and seals,pins,staples..etc were stored. The cupboard was my storage for CV's/Profile formats, Accounting related stuff, Bank papers,Licenses..etc.

Its been a long journey, starting with one employee, John Steven, aligning with Vijaykumar Bhattiprolu of  Aakarsh Consultancy, starting Bridgers and Headers & 24 By 7 Corporate Services, getting into IT Recruitment, HR Consulting, Payroll Management and Contract Staffing/Contract to Hire.....phew been there done that, kind of a thing. Beginning with a Rs 800/ invoice in 1992,we grew into a 1000 employee group, filled with excitement, learning, challenges and something new to look forward to, every single day.

A satisfying and fulfilling career,and hopefully thousands of well wishers...those whose careers we moulded and lives we bettered.More importantly I gave the right kind of counselling and guidance which at the end of day is what gave a sense of fulfillment and a life well served.

Hopefully in my 2nd innings and with my new calling,I shall continue doing the same kind of work and mitigate peoples troubles and burdens,thereby serving my purpose of Life on this earth.

I could go on and on about my engagements at Excel Enterprises,but would like to do it on another day,at another time.I shall endeavour to similarly contribute in other fields of interests,which i shall  embark on in due course.
